02:42 pm - Tutorial #3: Piper & Baby Chris Go from This to this 
1. First Crop your base to 100 by 100.Don't Sharpen yet.

2. Duplicate your base twice, Set them both on Screen and at 100% Opacity.

3. Now go to Layer--->New Adjustment Layer--->Selective Color,put in these setting:

So far: 
4 now duplicate your base two more time, set the top one at Screen at 100 Opacity and the the other one at Soft light at 100% Opacity

5. Now go to Layer--->New Fill Color--->27023C at exclusion at 100 Opacity

6. Now go to Layer--->New Adjustment Layer--->Levels, Put In These Setting:

so far: 
7. Now go to Layer--->New Adjustment Layer--->Color Balance, Put In These Setting: Midtones: 9, -9,14 Shadows: -12,16,-13

8. Now go to Layer--->New Adjustment Layer--->Hue/Saturation, Put In These Setting: Master: 18

9. Merge all Layer.
10. Now Sharpen your new Icon.

11. Now add Border, Brushes, texts, Textures...ect

I dont have all the episode up on my site yet, Include the episode I used for this tutorial.
The Brush "Cry", I found that brush over at Deviantart website, But I dont remember who created it.

1. First crop your picture to 100 by 100. Don't sharpen the base yet, I normally save the sharpen for the last step.

2. Duplicate your base twice, set the first screen at 100 and top to screen 60. if it too bright for you, neither lower the top screen or delete it, or it not bright enough for you try to set the top layer at screen at 100%, if it still not bright enough duplicate it again. for me it only took two layers both set at screen and the top layer at 60% and the middle layer set at 100%

3. Now goes to Layer--->New Adjustment Layer--->Selective Color, set it with these setting....

4. Now goes to Layer--->New Adjustment Layer--->Selective Color, set it with these setting....

5. Duplicate the base, move to the top, set it to screen, at 70% opacity

6. Now goes to Layer--->New Fill Layer--->Solid Color--->Exclusion at 100%---->#021a3d

7. Now goes to Layer--->New Adjustment Layer--->Hue/Saturation---> master saturation at 12

8. Now goes to Layer--->New Adjustment Layer--->Color Balance:
Midtones: 23, 12, 67 Shadows: -10, 4, 23 Highlights: -9, 12, 10

9. Merge all layer.
10. Now Sharpen your Icon.

11. Now add text(s), Brushes, Border, textures... etc.

Note: I have to do late three step a different way then how I explain it. in the PSD file, I have made a new layer and then i hit Crtl+Shift+Alt+E and then I Sharpen it and then I added a Border, You dont need to do that, Just follow steps 9-11 if you decide to used the PSD file.

1. Crop your Base, Sharpen if need. 
2. Duplicate your Base and set if to Soft light as 50%

3. add a New Adjustment Layer--->Selective Color:
R: -76, 0, 100, 0 Y: -100, 23, 100, 0 N: 65, 34, -24, 10

4. add a New Adjustment Layer--->Hue/Saturation Saturation +36

5. add a New Adjustment Layer--->Selective Color: R: -55, 23, 14, 8 Y: -89, 25, 30, -10 C: 43, 30, -15, 0 N: 50, -10, -23, 15

6. add a New Fill Layer--->Solid Color---> #250246 to Exclusion at 60%

7. Now add text(s) Brushes, Border and anything else you want.
